• With the incorporation of the firm led by Santos de Oliveira, the firm’s new Of Counsel, Andersen now has close to 70 professionals in its Lisbon and Porto offices

Andersen continues to consolidate its growth strategy in Portugal with the integration of Santos de Oliveira & Associados, SPRL, a firm specializing in criminal, economic criminal, and procedural law, led by Victor Manuel dos Santos de Oliveira, who will now assume the position of Of Counsel at Andersen.

With this incorporation, Andersen now has close to 70 professionals distributed between its Lisbon and Porto offices.

The team joining Andersen also includes Bruno da Silva Tavares and Gonçalo Macieira, who will join the firm as Senior Associates, and Cláudio Almeida, who will take on the role of Lawyer.

Victor Santos de Oliveira, who holds a law degree from the Lusíada University of Lisbon, has over 28 years of experience. He was a consultant to the Regional Vice-Presidency of Madeira, an evaluator for the Bar Association and the Center for Judicial Studies, and has contributed to the definition of legal principles in areas such as taxation, leasing, and freedom of association. In addition to his legal practice, he is a lecturer at the Ribeiro Sanches School of Health (ERISA).
