The Legal 500 directory has highlighted Andersen in three areas in Portugal in its 2022 ranking, reinforcing the firm’s positioning.

Specifically, Andersen has moved up a Tier in the Employment area, led by partners José Mota Soares and Teresa Nogueira, because of their service on complex labour litigation at all levels of the Portuguese courts and service to multinational clients.

Moreover, the ranking has included for the first time the Tax practice of Andersen in Portugal, headed by Gonçalo Cid and Carla Malhão, and has highlighted the broad experience in transactional tax, due diligence, litigation and compliance matters, acting primarily for international clients investing in Portugal.

Finally, Andersen has been included in the section “Porto: leading commercial firms” as Firm to Watch with The Legal 500 highlighting the active service in tax, real estate, employment and corporate and M&A of the Andersen’s Porto office, led by partners Luísa Curado and Teresa Nogueira.
