The Andersen Litigation team seeks to find the most effective solutions in litigation situations, whether at a pre-litigation phase or in the context of judicial representation, or even through alternative means of dispute resolution such as arbitration or mediation.

Our multidisciplinary team of lawyers provides the necessary legal advice in the various jurisdictions of the Andersen International network, registering remarkable success in complex litigation, including:

• In the pre-litigation phase, the counselling and the risk analysis in the view of a lawsuit;
• The judicial representation in disputes submitted to the Portuguese courts in all judicial instances, and in the higher courts within the different degrees of appeal;
• The advice and representation of Clients in domestic and international arbitrations, either with national and international arbitration centres, or within the scope of ad hoc
• Advice and representation of Clients in other alternative dispute resolution proceedings.

The team also includes a group of specialized lawyers in judicial insolvency and company recovery proceedings, advising the most diverse national and international clients, both in pre-insolvency phases (SIREVE, PER or PEAP) or during insolvency.
